The Swiss Embassy offers financial support to small-scale initiatives by organizations registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina that can contribute to achieving the results outlined in the Swiss Cooperation Programme 2021–24.
The current Programme focuses primarily on the following priority areas:
- Local governance and municipal services
- Economic development and employment
- Health
- Migration
- Arts and culture
The Embassy uses a two-step process to receive small grant applications.
Step 1
Interested applicants must submit a concept note (using the form below) to the sarajevo.smallactions@eda.admin.ch address.

Step 2
Upon a merit review of eligible proposals, applicants will be invited to submit a full application.
Full proposals will go through a second merit review before a final funding decision is made.
In order to ensure a swift and expedient evaluation, applicants are strongly advised to submit their concept note and subsequent application in English.
