The Geneva Run in Cairo commenced at seven in the morning on December 2nd to mark the Swiss traditional run that took place over the same weekend in Switzerland. It was organized in cooperation with the Cairo Governorate and Cairo Runners.
“The Geneva Run in Cairo was a great opportunity to bring together Switzerland and Egypt through sports, health and tradition. Organized together with the Cairo Governorate and supported by successful Swiss companies in Egypt, the event underlines the close relations between the two countries and provides positive news about tourism in Egypt,” said Markus Leitner, Ambassador of Switzerland to Egypt.
