Representation agreement

If a State does not have its proper visa section in a country or region, the delivery of a Schengen visa can be delegated to another Schengen State member with an agreement between both countries concerned.

The agreement allows the appointed representation to represent and handle Schengen Visa applications within its own competence without consulting the other represented State.

Issuance of Schengen Visa on behalf of Austria through the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi/Georgia

Issuance of Schengen Visa for Switzerland through the Embassy of Poland in Yerevan/Armenia

Due to the visa restriction in connection with COVID-19, the Embassy of Poland in Yerevan has suspended the issuance of Schengen Visa on behalf of Switzerland. Therefore, Residents of Armenia may temporarily and until further notice lodge their visa applications at the visa section of the Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia As for the current outbreak of the coronavirus, the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health FOPH and the Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia publish regular updates and travel advices. 

Online visa application process for Residents of Armenia

In order to start the online visa application process, please visit the Swiss visa website and fill out an online application form with your personal information as well as the information pertaining to your upcoming trip.

At the end of the process, please open the PDF format document and print, date and sign your application. Then press "send" in order for the application to become active.

After filling out the application online, an automatic generated e-mail with a link will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.

Please click on the link and select an available appointment at your convenience

The day of your appointment, please submit the printed application form along with your passport, 2 passport pictures, Schengen visa fees and the required supporting documents as per the list of requirements.

Family and group applications are also possible however each applicant has to have an individual appointment.
