Swiss nationals in need of consular services or other assistance can contact the FDFA Helpline. They should be aware, however, that Switzerland has only limited possibilities, if any, to provide assistance in an emergency.

Reopening of the embassy

The Embassy has reopened as of July 6, 2025. Consular services, including visa issuance, will resume on July 27, 2025. Appointments for Schengen visas can be booked through our external service provider VFS Global starting July 23, 2025.
