Contexte |
Many children are denied their right to education, in spite of a legally binding international instrument, the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Significant overall progress has been made to enroll children in school. However, 250 million children around the world fail to reach Grade 4 or reach it without learning to read or write. Large disparities remain in primary school enrolment, along with low learning levels and high dropout rates in secondary education. The poorest and most disadvantaged children bear the heaviest burden. Recent increased migratory movements expose children to the issue of racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance in their new school environment or leave them without the possibility to pursue school following their displacement. |
Objectifs |

During the common learning process “Outcome Monitoirng”, PCF has elaborated a corporate results framwork and the impact hypothesis, which is underlying PCF’s Program 2017 - 2020. Thanks to regular consultations with SDC Quality Assurance network, PCF improved its methodological capacities to elaborate country results frameworks and the corresponding monitoring system. |
