National Programme Officer- Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)

Switzerland through its development cooperation has been engaged in Nepal since 1959. With the establishment of its Embassy in Nepal in August 2009, Switzerland’s cooperation with Nepal continues to focus on federal state building, employment and income as well as migration. Switzerland is committed to support Nepal’s socio-economic development and federal state building at national, provincial and local level. 

We are looking for qualified Nepali National for 2 years fixed term contract with possibility of extension for the following position:

National Programme Officer- Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)

Master Degree in TVET, Education, Economics, Business Administration or any other relevant fields; At least 5 years of practical work experience in the development sector (of which 3 years in project cycle management) in areas such as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET),  private sector development, governance, or in relevant fields;

Call for application- Academy-Industry Training (AIT) Nepal

The Embassy of Switzerland in Nepal invites application from eligible science-based start-ups for the Academia Industry Training (AIT) Nepal program.

AIT Nepal is an innovation-based program between Switzerland and Nepal through a collaborative initiative between the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (Leading House- South Asia) and the Embassy of Switzerland in Nepal (through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC). The program empowers researchers from Nepal and Switzerland to transform their scientific discoveries into successful businesses.
