Competition is organized by the European Commission and on the national level is coordinated by the Ministry of Development. It is directed to local, regional and national authorities, cities, regions, communities, business organizations, institutions implementing educational programs, as well as to local government units, which together with entrepreneurs implement projects in the form of public-private partnership.

Its aim is to highlight the best promoters of entrepreneurship in Europe, to present best practices in the field of entrepreneurship, to increase public awareness of the role of entrepreneurs and to inspire potential entrepreneurs.

At European level, the project will be evaluated by members of the jury appointed by the European Commission.

Winners will be announced in November at the Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME Assembly in 2016) in Bratislava.
