On the occasion of the "Francophonie Days", the Embassy of Switzerland in Tanzania will host a screening of the film Tapis Rouge (Red Carpet) at the Alliance Francaise in Dar es Salaam from 18:30 hrs.
Tapis Rouge carries a strong message of hope as the main characters, a group of young people from the suburbs of Lausanne in Switzerland, pursue their dream of creating a movie with the help of a social worker. Their journey will take them all the way to the Cannes Film Festival.
Attendance is free of charge.
The Francophone community in Tanzania will celebrate "Les Jours de la Francophonie" between 9 and 26 March 2022.
