New Swiss Ambassador to Tanzania presents credentials

Ambassador Florence Tinguely Mattli presented on 9 September to President Dr. Jakaya Kikwete, the credentials that accredit her as the Swiss Ambassador to Tanzania.

The new Swiss Ambassador, Ms. Florence Tinguely Mattli, presented her letters of credence to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Jakaya Kikwete, during a Credential Ceremony at the State House. In her remarks, Ambassador Tinguely Mattli reassured the President that Switzerland if fully committed to develop further the long-lasting relations of friendship between the two countries. She underlined that Switzerland and the United Republic of Tanzania will celebrate in 2016 50 years of bilateral cooperation. 

The Ambassador was accompanied to the State House by Swiss Ambassador and Representative to the East African Community (EAC), Mr. Arthur Mattli, and Head of Swiss Development Cooperation, Ms. Romana Tedeschi.
