Feasibility study for the implementation of IndigoDigital
01.02.2014
- 31.12.2019
IndigoDigital, a Swiss based social venture, proposes to develop a digital platform for migrants to send money home to their families. Today, these transfers (remittances) amount to more than 430 billion USD that are being sent to developing countries every year. However, the current transfer possibilities are often expensive and do not favour a development-focused use of the money. With this feasibility study, SDC wants to test the working hypothesis of IndigoDigital, that indeed the venture can offer a low-cost, accessible and easy-to-use alternative for millions of migrants and their families.
