Swiss Fairtrade Towns

Fairtrade is based on a partnership between producers and consumers. When farmers can sell on fairtrade terms, it provides them with a better deal and terms of trade. Fairtrade also contributes to democracy building because of the investment of the fairtrade premium in community development.
