Public Financial Management Ghana, Reform Accounting

The PFM Reform Strategy Accounting Project supports the Government of Ghana in the implementation of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). It integrates into an active World Bank project, closes gaps, and complements it to contribute to the implementation of a sound financial reporting and accounting practice.

Financial Sector Development and Reform, South Africa, Phase II

The second phase of the Financial Sector Development and Reform Program (FSDRP 2) is to support the South African government in improving financial inclusion while at the same time strengthening financial stability. 2020, the program was expanded to provide rapid support to employees affected by the Covid-19 crisis (UIF & COVIDTERS).

Data for Decisions

The thematic Trust Fund "Data for Decisions" (D4D) is a multi-donor trust fund implemented by the IMF. It supports countries in the production of more and better data in the area of macroeconomic and financial statistics in order to improve decision-making. The Swiss contribution in the amount of CHF 4 million covers the period 2018-2023.

Supreme Audit Institutions: Strategy Performance Measurement & Reporting II

The Strategy Performance Measurement and Reporting Program (SPMR) will strengthen the performance and institutional capacity of 30 Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) globally. Under the SPMR program, SAIs will be supported in strategic change management through a moderated process of regionally based trainings, e-learning and peer assistance. The final impact are better performing SAIs, enabled to ensure value for money of public spending for citizens.

Banking Sector Soundness and Development Advisory Services and Analytics

This financial sector intervention provides technical assistance to the State Bank of Vietnam for comprehensive reforms under the current Banking Restructuring Plan. It tackles legal, financial stability, supervision and financial infrastructure topics. The 7,85 million CHF project will be implemented by the World Bank over five years (2018-2023).

URscape Urban Planning Tool

The URscape Urban Planning Tool is a practical planning software for secondary cities, developed by the Future Cities Lab at the Singapore-ETH Centre. The project entails resources to develop further the software and, together with ADB, support cities in using it to improve the quality of their urban planning, consultation and decision-making.

The residential housing sector in Ukraine is the most significant end-user of energy. The project aims to reduce energy consumption and promote energy efficiency, fostering sustainable market reforms to facilitate lending for energy efficient modernization.

UN Trade Cluster Myanmar

The UN Trade Cluster country project Myanmar will be implemented in Shan State (Inle Lake area) by UNCTAD, ILO, UNIDO and ITC. The project provides for two outcomes in the area of horticulture supply and sustainable tourism development, while preparing the necessary conditions for selected value chains linking both sectors (backward linkages).

Green Bond Technical Assistance Program

The Program supports the creation of new markets for climate finance in emerging markets. The program contributes to developing green bond policies, providing training programs for bankers, and facilitating the adoption of the Green Bond Principles and international best practices and market standards.

Integrated Urban Development Project in Hayenna, Egypt

The project shall enhance the organizational capacity of local government units to better manage their land and linked local revenues. Furthermore, the project activities shall also support ongoing efforts aimed at improving the related legal and institutional frameworks at the national level. The project is implemented by UN-Habitat.
