Information and advisory services
The FDFA is committed to providing its staff with a healthy and respectful working environment where harassment, particularly sexual harassment, has no place. It expects everyone to behave respectfully. If you are confronted with inappropriate behaviour that could constitute sexual harassment, there are a number of services available to you.
Confidential external services
- Personnel and Social Counselling Service of the Federal Administration (de, fr, it)
- FOPER's mediation service (de, fr, it)
- Conciliation board under the Gender Equality Act (GEA), fr/de/it
- Specialised external services (fr)
- Local counselling offices in the host country
Confidential internal services
- FDFA Compliance Office: by phone or email (compliance@eda.admin.ch) or via the whistleblowing platform, which allows for anonymous reporting.

Respect in the workplace
All staff are entitled to a working environment free of sexual harassment.

These offices will inform you about various informal and formal steps you can take and support you in order to put a quick stop to the sexual harassment.
