As the official representation of Switzerland, the Embassy covers all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Swiss interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.
Tragedy in Crans-Montana
On New Year's Eve, 31 December 2025, a devastating fire broke out in a bar in Crans-Montana. So far, it is known that 40 people died and 116 were injured, many of them seriously. The victims include numerous foreign nationals. The FDFA is therefore in contact with the countries concerned.
