Change of outsourcing partner

In 2017, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA published a worldwide tendering procedure because the current contracts with its outsourcing partners will expire in mid-July 2018. The evaluation of the bids received has resulted in a change of the outsourcing partner of the Embassy of Switzerland in Jakarta as from mid-July.

As from July 16, 2018, the Embassy of Switzerland in Jakarta will work with the company VFS Global. VFS Global is a long-standing and trusted partner of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA and enjoys its full confidence. The Visa acceptance centre will continue to operate in the city Jakarta. Further information and the address of the visa acceptance centre can be found at www.vfsglobal.com.

The collaboration between the Embassy of Switzerland in Jakarta and TLScontact will end as of July 13, 2018.

The first day, applicants can submit visa files at VFS Global centre, will be on July 16, 2018.

The Embassy of Switzerland in Jakarta together with the companies TLScontact and VFS Global will make every effort to ensure the smooth implementation of the changes.

Important: Visa requirements and Visa procedures remain the same. Spouses of Swiss nationals, registered at the Embassy of Switzerland, can submit the visa file direct at the Visa Section.
