Switzerland as a business location for Indonesian companies

The SBH Indonesia is the first point of contact for Indonesian companies interested in Switzerland as a business location.

Indonesia and Switzerland have established strong trade and investment relations, and today around 100 Swiss companies operate in the country, employing a workforce of around 50,000 people. Around 50 Swiss brands are represented in Indonesia via local partners. Switzerland is the 17th-largest source of FDI for Indonesia globally and in Q1/2021 reached CHF 466 million. In December 2018, Indonesia and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries signed the Indonesia-EFTA Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IE-CEPA), which came into force on 1 November 2021.
