This embassy subcontracts the submission of short stay visa applications (up to 90 days, Schengen C visa) to an external service provider, VFS Global Algeria. The decision to grant or refuse the visa remains the exclusive competence of this embassy.

Please note that the processing time by the Swiss representation is up to 15 days from receipt of the application. Applicants are therefore requested to make an appointment with VFS Global Algérie as early as possible. If the planned trip takes place earlier, it cannot be guaranteed that a visa can be issued on time.
