Where to apply for a Schengen visa?

Representation agreement
If a State does not have its proper visa section in a country or region, the delivery of a Schengen visa can be delegated to another Schengen State member with an agreement between both countries concerned.
The agreement allows the appointed representation to represent and handle Schengen visa applications within its own competence without consulting the other represented State.

However, applications for the following categories of visas need to be lodged at the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi:
- visas with limited territorial validity (LTV), except the visas issued due to the fact that other Member States do not recognize the travel document of the applicant, while both Poland and Switzerland recognize it;
- medical treatment;
- visa applications submitted by the citizens of Eritrea, Iraq and Somalia;
- visa applications submitted by the holders of a diplomatic, service or special passport, who are not citizens of Armenia;
- visa applications submitted by the holders of an ordinary passport, who are not citizens of Armenia, intending to visit Switzerland for an official purpose, including the attendance of international conferences.
In order to spare visa applicants time-consuming journeys to the competent Swiss representation, in this case in Tbilisi, Switzerland has concluded so-called representation agreements with 19 other Schengen states, including Poland for Armenia, based on Art. 8 of the Visa Code. However applicants still have the possibility to lodge their application at the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi.
Online visa application process
- In order to start the online visa application process, please visit the Swiss visa website and fill out an online application form with your personal information as well as the information pertaining to your upcoming trip.
- At the end of the process, please open the PDF format document and print, date and sign your application. Then press "send" in order for the application to become active.
- After filling out the application online, an automatic generated e-mail with a link will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.

The day of your appointment, please submit the printed application form along with your passport, 2 passport pictures, Schengen visa fees and the required supporting documents as per the list of requirements.
