This summer, the Embassy of Switzerland invited nine artists from Switzerland to pursue residencies in China as part of the CH><CN Studios program. We also invited seven Chinese artists with international study or work experience to participate. As a major outcome of the Swiss Embassy’s “CH><CN Studio” project, Breakdown Playlist brings together the latest works of these 16 emerging artists from both countries.

Under the Pretty Good Film Festival campaign, the Embassy plans to organize a series of screenings of Swiss films (fiction, documentary, animation, short film), putting ECONOMY under spotlight. This year's lineup includes eight films: four documentaries, two narrative features and two animations.
On August 6th 2024, the Embassy of Switzerland celebrates the 50th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of the Embassy complex on this site, which was completed in 1976. Prior to the move, the Embassy was located in a traditional courtyard in Nanheyan.
