After over 450 concerts in Switzerland and abroad, from small clubs to big open-airs, Carrousel still manages to thrill us time and time again.
Do you know Carrousel? If not, it is high time! Carrousel is a French-Swiss duo, founded by Sophie Burande and Léonard Gogniat in 2008 in Paris. Their musical style generally moves towards rock, folk, and pop but also in modern French chansons. Meanwhile Carrousel has turned to a quartet, which enraptures the public with its enchanting stage presence and cheerful melodies. Carrousel style of music and their voice print clearly distinguishes itself from similar groups. The quartet presents a successful mixture of various inspirations, which in certain ways remind us of the «Orges de Barback» or «La rue Kétanou», furthermore, they add a fresh breeze of pop and French variété. The result is very charming, both the rhythm as well as the freshness of the lyrics. With concise and poetic words, catchy tunes and two voices that are connected subtly…the carousel may turn!
