In the following meeting the two parties discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Switzerland. President Massoum expressed his wish to intensify these relations, particularly in the tourism and industry sector. He also spoke of the humanitarian crisis and the danger posed by growing extremism. The Swiss Ambassador wished the President and the people of Iraq success and all the best for the future. He mentioned that Switzerland is willing to assist Iraq in these difficult times and that the fields of cooperation shall be defined as soon as possible.
