We are offering a one-year academic internship with starting date to be agreed mutually, as described in the attached job announcement. (PDF, 1 Page, 143.0 kB)

As part of the diplomatic affairs team at the Swiss Embassy in Jordan, you will experience the diverse world of diplomacy up close – from organizing high-profile events and analyzing political developments to shaping the embassy's communications.

Your main tasks:

Coordinating and participating in cultural events at the embassy, such as Swiss Film Days or the Swiss National Day
Supporting the embassy's Communication Officer with the embassy's social media activities
Participating in political and economic reporting
Monitoring the political and economic situation in Jordan

If you have completed your Master’s degree within the past year, are a Swiss citizen with domicile in Switzerland, have a genuine interest in Jordan and the region, and aspire to a career in diplomacy, this internship offers a unique opportunity to gain meaningful responsibility, hands-on learning, and valuable international experience.
