National Project Officer for Animal Health

The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Mongolia seeks to hire a highly motivated professional as a Project Officer for Animal Health for its Green Gold/Animal Health Consolidation project to be implemented during the period January 1, 2017 - December 31, 2020. SDC invites highly motivated and competent professionals to apply for the vacant post.

What you bring

  • Master or PhD in veterinary sciences or agriculture with knowledge of animal health
  • 3-5 years working experience in development projects in similar field
  •  Sound knowledge of the veterinary system in Mongolia
  • Practical experiences in veterinary and animal health system
  • Capacities to deliver technical advice on animal health issues to national partners
  • Knowledge of the major animal health issues in Mongolia
  • Interpersonal and team working skills and capacities to deliver results on time
  • Availability for frequent travels in rural areas
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Mongolian
