Basic education and vocational training

The SDC Myanmar Employment and Skills Development program will support rural women and men to get higher incomes through adapted vocational and life skills, employment or self-employment. Given the low level of education, high illiteracy and ethnic minorities that do not speak the official national language, a combination of non-formal short term vocational skills and life skills trainings will be provided, as well as longer-term vocational education through apprenticeships.
