Team Leader Social Inclusion
As part of the Swiss contribution is to reduce economic and social disparities within the enlarged European Union, the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Programme is implemented among others through the Thematic Fund “Reforms linked to the Inclusion of Roma and other Vulnerable Groups” (‘Roma Inclusion Fund’ or RIF). In this respect, the Embassy of Switzerland intends to hire a
for the RIF’s Programme Management Unit (2 persons) hosted by the Romanian Department of Interethnic Relations (DIR).
The Team leader will report to the Head of the Swiss Contribution Office. The Team leader is responsible for the management of the RIF according to the Terms of Reference .
Master degree in a relevant field;
A minimum five years of continuously more senior experience in social development programmes;
Proven track record in dealing with minority and especially Roma issues;
Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment;
Ability to manage the whole spectrum of expected activities (i.e. strategic, monitoring, assessment, administration, communication, implementation issues);
Thorough command of Romanian and English; knowledge of Romani would be an asset.
