Visit of St. Gallen University students to the Swiss Embassy

The Swiss Embassy opened its doors to a group of St. Gallen University (HSG) students for an exchange on the current situation in Serbia and in the Western Balkans.

As part of their university studies at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS-HSG) and in the frame of a master course focusing on the concept of soft power, 14 students from the St. Gallen University, accompanied by their professors, are travelling to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exchange with the Deputy Head of Mission, Counsellor Mr. Jean-Luc Oesch, focused on the current situation in Serbia and the Western Balkans, from different perspective including historic, political, economic and cultural, as well as discussing the geopolitical context.

The students came from diverse disciplinary background (International Relations, Management and Finances) and were from different countries including Switzerland, Germany, Colombia, North Macedonia and Croatia.
