Announcement of the Exhibition "Private Value 2"

Swiss Support for the Inter-municipal Cooperation

Minister of Public Administration and Local-Self Government Branko Ružić invited local governments to apply for support in establishing inter-municipal cooperation, within a public call supported by the Government of Switzerland with 104’000 EUR. The call is open until June 26, 2019.  


96 Local Governments Embark on Good Governance

The representatives of 96 local governments have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of good governance with the Swiss PRO Programme, supported by the Government of Switzerland. The Memorandum will ensure the commitment of municipalities to work towards an improved quality of services to the citizens and businesses.


European Energy Award Signatory Conference

With the signing of a licence agreement the cities of Krusevac and Uzice and the municipalities of Paracin and Vrbas, have officially joined the European Energy Award (EEA) Association within the Municipal Energy Efficiency and Management Project (MEEMP) in Serbia, supported by the Swiss Government under the coordination of the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia. The EEA licence agreement was signed on behalf of the EEA  Association by the Board Member of the international EEA Association, Mr. Reto Lindegger.


New website of the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees and Migration

The new official website of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia has been launched with the Swiss support. The main goal was to enhance communication with users and present the work of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration in an efficient, transparent and up to date manner.


33 Local Governments to be Supported to Improve Public Financial Management

The Swiss Government will extend support to 33 local governments over the coming two years for improved public financial management and oversight of local public enterprises via Local Government Finance Reforms in Serbia II (RELOF2). Memorandums of Understanding with the local authorities were signed today at a ceremony in Belgrade.

OECD’s Positive Review of Swiss International Cooperation

Switzerland supports cycle-tourism in Srem

With Swiss support, a 4.2 km cycle path has been completed in Srem with the aim of linking urban, rural and protected natural areas. As part of the project "Bicycle tours toward rural and regional development Srem", growth of tourism and economic potential was supported to assist improve the everyday life in this region.
