The transformation of Industrial Parks (IPs) to Eco-Industrial Parks (EIPs) can make a significant contribution to Resource Efficient Cleaner Production, avoidance of waste and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Swiss Skills for Competitiveness (SS4C) Program

The program aims at strengthening the competitiveness of the Indonesian private sector by improving the skills of Indonesia’s workforce to match industry needs. It builds capacities of public and private vocational education and training service providers and fosters collaboration among those actors to create a more effective ecosystem.



Swiss Tax Programme for Development (STP4D)

The Swiss Tax Programme for Development (STP4D) bundles SECO’s work on domestic resource mobilization into one flagship programme. STP4D will allow SECO to continue being a leading donor in this area by supporting countries in a broad range of aspects, using different instruments, development partners and formats.


Government Debt and Risk Management Program, Phase III South

For selected partner countries, this program (implemented by World Bank) aims to strengthen debt and risk management operations, build capacity to diversify capital market access and the investor base, help them deal with contingent liabilities, and support the establishment and maintenance of a prudent and cost-effective sovereign debt profile.


Social Impact Bonds, Phase II

The Social Impact Bonds Phase II aims at fostering results-based finance (RBF) in Peru and Colombia, by providing technical assistance in selected sectors. The Program applies impact bonds to address barriers and opportunities, reward cost-effectiveness and foster public-private partnerships. It intervenes on policy, market and project level.


Urban Water Supply Security, Phase II, EUR

01.11.2023 - 31.10.2028

The water security project helps Peru to advance the systemic integration of water security aspects in the planning and provision of water and sanitation services at national, regional and local levels. Phase II builds on the good results of the first phase and particularly focuses on sustainability.


MEMCU - Municipal Energy Management Certification Ukraine

01.11.2023 - 30.10.2028

The project helps Ukrainian cities to increase their energy efficiency by adapting the European Energy Award. The project is highly relevant in the war context as well as in regards of the Ukrainian Government’s ambition of a 'green reconstruction' as it contributes to energy security and reduces municipal expenses.


Inclusive Payments Digitalisation Program South Africa

The proposed program aims at improving South Africa’s payments system by implementing five practical projects in providing digital solutions for SMEs and the poor. It will do so in the areas of digitizing payments in townships, in the informal services sector, cross-border remittances, cross-border trade and financial inclusion data collection.


Swiss Decentralization Support Ghana Phase III

Ghana designed its decentralization reform to improve service delivery to its citizens through local governance and citizens’ participation. The Swiss Decentralization Support builds on the achievement of previous phases and aims to 1) support the progress of the decentralization reform by channeling ownership and commitment at central level- 2) improve infrastructure and financial management in Ghana’s districts and 3) complement the decentralization reforms pillar on popular participation by empowering local institutions and citizens towards district assemblies and central government by piloting bottom-up accountability approaches.
