African Tax Administration Forum, Phase III

The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) is a multilateral initiative launched by a group of African governments in 2009. ATAF offers a platform for tax administrators to articulate African tax priorities, develop best practices, and build capacity in African tax policy and administration through peer learning and knowledge sharing.
Swiss Import Promotion Programme SIPPO 2017-2021

The SIPPO Program 2017-21 will follow a strong development agenda. The "strategic sourcing" of goods and services coming from developing countries will be the "mirror effect" of the products and services offered. The Program will further develop its "Last Mile" competences and integrating SIPPO’s "Last Mile" expertise into SECO’s trade development value chain programs.

SECO Start-up Fund - Administration 2017-24

The SECO Start-up Fund is a debt vehicle that provides loans to Swiss-based individuals or small enterprises for the purpose of launching a business in Swiss partner countries. The SECO Start-up Fund is fully owned by the Swiss Confederation and consitutes an instrument of the Swiss Economic Cooperation and Development programme.
General Budget Support to Burkina Faso (2017-2020)

SECO is a long-standing partner of Burkina Faso in terms of general budget support. The aid is accompanied by targeted technical assistance. Together with other donors, SECO will support full implementation of the new National Economic and Social Development Plan with a budget support grant in the amount of CHF 30 million for the period 2017-2020.
Advisory Centre on WTO Law IV

The Advisory Centre on WTO Law (ACWL) was established in 2001 with the goal of enabling developing countries, and in particular least developed countries (LDCs), to better understand their rights and obligations in the World Trade Organisation (WTO), and to provide them with equal opportunities to defend their interests in the WTO dispute settlement proceedings. ACWL provides three types of services to this end: legal advice on WTO law, support in dispute settlement proceedings and legal training.
UN Trade Cluster Tanzania, Phase II

Solid Waste Management in Berat

Warehouse Receipts System in Ghana

Lack of access to finance is a key constraint for small and medium enterprises in Ghana to growth and job creation. The agricultural sector is underserved by financial institutions due to perceived risks and missing securities. Strengthening the Warehouse Receipts System will help to address this.

INDOBUS Urban Transport

The Indonesian Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Development Project (INDOBUS) managed by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) assists Indonesian municipalities in developing bus rapid transit corridors as a backbone for sustainable urban mobility systems. It entails technical assistance and capacity-building for cities and ministries to foster the implementation of bus based mass public transport in medium-sized cities.
