Internships at European Institutions
The European institutions (Commission, Parliament, Council) offer young graduates the possibility of internships. Twice a year, the European Commission offers 5-month internships, for work experience in one of its services. These internships start on 1 March and 1 October of each year.
Whilst priority is given to citizens of EU member states, the Commission also offers a certain number of places to citizens of other countries. To date, approximately 40 Swiss citizens have had the possibility of complementing their training and benefitting from work experience within the community’s institutions.
