Academic internships

The Embassy of Switzerland in Australia offers a full-time 12-month paid internship to qualified and highly motivated candidates.

Internship description

The internship provides initial work experience and an insight into the world of diplomacy. Interns are fully integrated into the Embassy team and supported by their supervisors. Tasks range from writing reports to organising events and representing the Embassy at meetings. Interns will mostly work on political, economic, scientific and cultural issues, but may be asked to assist with any of the Embassy's tasks.

As a mid-sized embassy, the Embassy of Switzerland in Australia side-accredited to five Pacific countries offers its interns a broad and comprehensive experience and rewards them for a high degree of flexibility.
