A moving story of healing, hope, and quiet resilience
Adapted from the novel "Ör" by Icelandic author Audur Ava Ólafsdóttir, "Hôtel Silence" is a quietly powerful film about rebuilding one’s life. This Swiss-Canadian co-production, directed by acclaimed Swiss filmmaker Léa Pool, is available to stream online for free this May.

Synopsis
Jean, a quiet man reeling from personal loss, travels to a remote, war-torn country seeking escape. Once there, he finds himself in a crumbling hotel, surrounded by locals rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Through unexpected encounters, acts of care, and moments of introspection, Hôtel Silence offers a subtle and emotional portrait of healing and the quiet power of human connection.
