“Cosmos Archaeology: Exploring the Universe Through Art & Science”, as a pre-Chinese New Year special exhibition, co-presented by EPFL Pavilions and Guangdong Science Center (GDSC), was officially opened in the GDSC on January 10, 2025.
The New Zurich Orchestra (NZO, Neues Zürcher Orchester) is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the orchestra is planning a special Asia Tour in collaboration with the Swiss Philharmonic Academy. In April 2015, the Chinese music lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy its concert in Shanghai, with a rich program featuring flutist Philippe Jundt as soloist and Spanish composer Rodrigo who will give a concert for flutes, just to mention a few.
For the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and the People's Republic of China, and as part of the partnership signed in 2013 between Geneva and the city of Beijing, the Capital Museum China, in cooperation with the Geneva Museum of Art and History (MAH) and the Manufacture Vacheron Constantin, presents "Geneva at the Heart of Time - The Origin of Swiss Watchmaking Culture" from April 23rd to August 12th 2015.

RAM in cooperation with BANK presents Vive Le Capital, an evening where art meets global commerce that explores, celebrates, and critiques the omnipresent power of global finance through the perspectives from artists and others that examine the momentous and intimate experiences with multi-national capitalism. Creative practices will be considered as impressed in the world of global capital and finance, rather than reducing them to vapid gestures of political correctness or over-simplifying dichotomies of morality.
Basel Symphony Orchestra is to visit China again to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship. Dennis Russell Davies will conduct the orchestra to play a concert in Beijing's Forbidden City Concert Hall on 23rd March and a concert in Oriental Art Center in Shanghai on 25th March.

As part of the “Rencontres du Cinéma Francophone”, in the setting of the 20th “Fête de la Francophonie”, Switzerland is delighted to present for the first time in China Swiss Director Dominique Othenin-Girard’s movie Henry Dunant: Red on the Cross. This impactful artwork, which is inspired by a true story, has already thrilled and moved viewers in more than 40 countries. To celebrate this happening Henry Dunant: Red on the Cross will be screened in a dozens of cities across China.
Music has always been a part of Bastian Baker life,even as a young boy when music wasn’t at the centre of his preoccupations, he lent his voice to a school choir. Today, at only 24, he already sings on Switzerland and Europe’s biggest stages with the self-confidence of experienced performers. Over two years, he performed hundreds of times. Among the list, very prestigious venues: Montreux Jazz Festival, Paleo Festival and Francofolies de la Rochelle. This is his first tour in China.
Inspired by Romain Gary’s 1964 novel The Ski Bum (or Adieu, Gary Cooper in French), the rock band Adieu Gary Gooper has been invited by the Embassy of Switzerland to participate to the 8th edition of the French speaking music festival, Mars en Folie. Organized with the Alliance Française network, the embassies of Canada, Switzerland and Belgium as well as Wallonia-Brussels Delegation and Quebec government offices in China as a Part of the Fête de la Francophonie, Mars en Folie stages 4 bands which are soon going to stir up young Chinese music fans.
