KALIMA stands for Keiko Abe Lausanne International Marimba Academy. Led by renowned marimbist Keiko Abe, the event, held every other year since 2011 in Lausanne, involves concerts and lectures to explore the mellow and gentle sound of the marimba instrument.
Tchiki Duo, a Swiss marimba unit comprising Jacques Hostettler and Nicolas Suter, will tour Japan this year and offer public lectures and workshops.
