Switzerland-based singer Lauren Newton works at the intersection of contemporary classical music, avant-garde jazz and performance, using her voice, body and presence as instruments for artistic exploration.
Together with Swiss bassist Heiri Kaenzig, she is invited to perform at this year's «Jazz Art Sengawa» and «Takasaki Make a Jazz Noise» festivals as part of a tendays Japan tour.
