A Francophonie – annual event is organized jointly by the Embassies of the French speaking countries in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The highlight will the Francophonie Film Festival, with premiere of "My Life as a Zucchini"- an animation film by Swiss director Mr Claude Barras, which was nominated to Oscar 2017.
In 2017, the Francophonie Film Festival will screen "Augustine", "The Patience Stone", "As I open my eyes", "My Sweet Pepperland", "My Life as a Zucchini", "Violet", "Memories", and "The Dismantling". For the opening ceremony, the director of "My Life as a Zucchini", Mr. Claude Barras will be present after the Oscars. The movies will be screened in Tengis Cinema.
