South Sudan, WFP: UNHAS Contribution 2015

Progetto concluso

South Sudan is one of the world’s most challenging operating environments. The significant size of the humanitarian aid community combined with the poor state of transport infrastructure as well as a precarious security situation demand a continuous and augmented humanitarian air transport capacity. WFP UNHAS is the only viable transport option available to the humanitarian community at large to accessing the needy persons and providing them with humanitarian assistance.
