With funding from Switzerland, the EGAP Program, implemented by the East Europe Foundation and in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, announces a competition for the selection of 16 territorial communities in the Sumy, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi and Chernihiv regions to implement the digitization projects.

The selected communities will be able to implement a number of innovative solutions: introduce effective digital tools in the local government; become energy independent; develop digital literacy courses for their residents, and create activity centers.

Currently, the EGAP Regional Digitalization Program is working in nine target regions across Ukraine: Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipro, Luhansk, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, and Khmelnytskyi. The last three have recently joined the Program after signing a trilateral Memorandum at the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine.

Sixteen pilot communities will be selected through an open competition: four communities in each region (Sumy, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi and Chernihiv).

We are waiting for communities that are eager for change and ready to actively implement the latest technologies over the next four years. We have not only a vision, algorithms and methodologies, but also practical experience in implementing digital transformation projects. Together, we will make local authorities more transparent and efficient, and services more accessible”, – says Serhiy Gunko, coordinator of the EGAP Regional Digitalization Program.

To participate in the competition, you have to submit an application form no later than at 23:59 on 15 August 2024.
