L’Association pour le Développement de l’Education en Afrique (ADEA) estime que l’absence d’un développement durable en Afrique s’explique en grande partie par l’inefficacité des systèmes éducatifs. Le plan d’action de l’ADEA (2013-2017) compte faire de l’Association une institution panafricaine ouverte et flexible qui informe et influence la transformation qualitative de l’éducation et la formation en Afrique. La DDC souhaite, à travers cette dernière contribution poursuivre l’appui à cette dynamique, en recherchant davantage d’effets sur les politiques nationales et de complémentarités avec les appuis des bucos.

Denunciare e combattere la violenza di genere in Mongolia

Dall’inizio del secolo sono in aumento gli episodi di violenza domestica in Mongolia. Tuttavia a causa della carenza di dati statistici il fenomeno è difficile da valutare e la cultura di impunità continua a prevalere. La DSC vuole porre rimedio al problema con uno studio di portata nazionale. Allo stesso tempo si propone di rafforzare le istituzioni, di creare servizi appositi e di sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica.

The Asia Foundation: Strengthening Myanmar’s transition

Swisso Kalmo: Provision of secondary health services at Merka Hospital, Somalia

Lower Shabelle in South Central Somalia is highly affected by the ongoing conflict and insecurity in Somalia. Only a small number of service providers are able to operate and access people in need, including internally displaced women, men and children. Switzerland's contribution to Merka hospital, run by Swisso Kalmo (SK), is critical to ensure that the population of Lower Shabelle (900'000) has access to life saving health services provided by trained medical personnel.

Integrating Sexual and Reproductive Health Services in Bosaso.

The programme through a contribution to Médecins du Monde-France aims at improving access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services for the population of Bosaso (Puntland, Somalia). This will be done through progressively integrating the SRH into existing primary health care services offered in health facilities. Regional health authorities as well as local health providers are closely involved in the intervention to not only ensure that services are culturally responsive but also that they become an integral part of the health system.

People in Nepal still suffer from lack of effective human rights protection, weak public accountability, and prevailing impunity. Switzerland and Denmark continue to support the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) aiming at systematically developing its internal capacity. The third phase will enable the NHRC to better fulfil its mandate and increase its legitimacy and leverage to advocate more effectively for the protection and promotion of human rights for the people of Nepal.

This phase seeks to transform Wiwanana Foundation into an organization with economic and institutional sustainability. In turn, enabling the organization to deliver quality services and play a key role in the advocacy of health matters in the Province. The Phase is in line with Wiwanana’s Strategic Plan (2016-2020) with one of its two focuses being the institutional capacity building, alongside health governance. The phase is also embedded in the SDC Mozambique civil society concept note.

In Kosovo la corruzione è onnipresente in seno alle istituzioni statali e contribuisce alla perdita di fiducia dei cittadini nei confronti del sistema. La DSC sostiene un progetto che mira a ovviare a questo fenomeno lottando a favore della trasparenza delle istituzioni e incitando i cittadini a denunciare le pratiche scorrette.

Au Niger, plus de 3 millions de personnes sont affectées chaque année par l'insécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle. Ces crises entrainent les ménages dans un cercle vicieux de pauvreté et de vulnérabilité. Pour faire face à ce défi, les autorités du Niger ont créé un dispositif national de prévention et de gestion des catastrophes et crises alimentaires. La Suisse accompagne ce Dispositif afin de soutenir durablement la sécurité alimentaire des populations les plus vulnérables.

Toda la régión está experimentando vulnerabilidad las que pueden causar catástrofes cuya magnitud limitada en la myoría de los casos, no justifica la activacíon de una respuesta internacional, perso todavía puede causar cictimas y daños considerables. En la misma manera los fenómenos geoffisicos como terremotos, tsunamis, erupciones volcánicas, etc., afectan la región. A través de pegueñas contribuciones Suiza se manifiesta como un socio de confianza para el fortalecimiento de su red y al mismo tiempo aumentar su visibilidad.
