European Sustainable Development Week aims to contribute to sustainable development through activities, projects and events, and to create visibility via a common platform. The goal is to encourage more people to act in a sustainable way and to raise awareness of the 2030 Agenda.

This year's European Sustainability Week (ESDW) will take place from September 20 - September 26, 2022. Take the opportunity and launch actions for sustainable development in your company, association or administration.
In Switzerland, various organisations can support project initiators in the implementation of their projects. The following section lists some of these organisations.

Platform Agenda 2030
The association Platform Agenda 2030 wants to contribute to the implementation of the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in and by Switzerland. The Swiss "Platform Agenda 2030" is a coalition of around 50 Swiss civil society organisations from the fields of development cooperation, environmental protection, gender, peace, sustainable business and trade unions. We are working towards implementing the Agenda 2030 for sustainable development within Switzerland as well as elsewhere. It is important for us to consider and promote the Agenda 2030 in its entirety.

Sustainable Development Solutions Network Switzerland SDSN
The SDSN brings its members and partners together and helps the scientific community, all levels of government, business and civil society to create a multi-stakeholder dialogue. Sustainability Week Switzerland SWS
The SWS is a project of the "Swiss Association for Student Organisations for Sustainability" (VSN), which promotes sustainability at Swiss universities and in society. SWS supports local teams in organising a so-called sustainability week. During such a week, attention is drawn to sustainable development issues through a variety of event formats, where the discussion on sustainability at their universities and in initiating long-term changes in the areas of teaching, research, operations and governance is stimulated. Impact Hub
Impact Hub Switzerland is an association consisting of the 6 Swiss Impact Hubs in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Ticino and Zurich that aims at advancing the 2030 Agenda in society and the economy. How this is achieved is on one hand thanks to the strong community of around 2000 members connecting at Impact Hubs while co-working or joining events; on the other hand, through several programmes (e.g. Circular Economy Transition, Climathon, Female Founder Initiative) addressing these important topics and supporting entrepreneurs.
During the European Sustainable Development Week, startups and interested individuals can come to the 6 Swiss locations and spend a day getting to know the dynamic and inspiring Impact Hub environment. More information about activities and events can be found on the local Impact Hub websites.

Sustainability Week for Business SWB4
The SW4B is a supporting offer for companies which, through a comprehensive awareness-raising programme, allows the company and its employees to deal with the issues of sustainable development in various formats.
In partnership with the client company, the SW4B team develops a tailor-made programme of events, trainings and seminars and supports the transition of . The programme takes into account the existing sustainability practices in the company and their thematic focus. The SW4B offers a low-threshold opportunity for every company and provides space to deal with sustainable development and to initiate the corporate sustainability transformation or to anchor it significantly among the employees.
