The topic of the conference was “Armenia, Switzerland: Safety for Old Nuclear Power Plants”.
About 120 experts and guests were present to the conference and important aspects of the field were discussed. Continues investments are absolutely important for the country to sustain the life cycle of the nuclear plants and later to prolong it.
Dr Wanner’s main purpose in Armenia was to head an Integrated Regulatory Review Service mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency to Armenia.
