The exhibition ‘Cosmos Archaeology: Exploration in Time and Space’, jointly organized by the Embassy of Switzerland in China, the National Museum of China (NMC ), and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, with support from the Department of Astronomy and the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University, was officially unveiled at the NMC on July 2nd. This is the first Swiss exhibition held at the new NMC since its opening and marks a highlight in the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and China.
The exhibition brings together no fewer than 233 exhibits by 49 artists from the Collection de l’Art Brut, as well as pieces by four self-taught Chinese artists. It is the first comprehensive research-based presentation of the development of Art Brut in China.
Hallo is a solo performance by Martin Zimmermann, an acclaimed Swiss choreographer and physical actor, with elements of mime, dance, circus and tragicomedy. He attempts to unravel his own absurd humor of his inner life inside out and get a grip on his whimsical thought processes.

This conference will focus on how technology can drive City Transformation. Catherine Grossrieder is an artist who resides in Hong Kong. Having been born in Bangkok and brought up in Hong Kong, she’s been influenced by a multitude of Asian and Japanese style cartoons. Combined with the graffiti and hiphop culture, it has molded the style of her art that we know today.
