In Memory of the Victims of the Crans-Montana Tragedy

We are deeply saddened and affected by the tragic fire that occurred on New Year’s Eve in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. This devastating incident claimed the lives of dozens of people and left many others injured, including both local residents and international visitors.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to the families and loved ones of the victims, the injured, and all the emergency responders who are working tirelessly to provide care and support in the aftermath of this tragedy. We also express our wishes of strength to those who remain waiting to identify victims and the injured. We stand in solidarity with the affected community during this profoundly difficult time.

Switzerland is thankful for the support from neighboring countries and the European Civil Protection Mechanism, which helps ensure that victims receive the best possible medical care. Emergency services continue to work around the clock, and authorities are coordinating with families and international representatives to provide assistance and accurate information.
