The much expected and considered “IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook” is published annually by the IMD World Competitiveness Center based in Lausanne. The Center is headed by Prof. Arturo Bris. According to the latest report Switzerland ranks second and therefore proves to be an ideal investment location.
During Prof. Bris’ visit in Taipei, he gave different presentations that focused on Taiwan’s competitiveness. One of his presentations took place at the Swiss Residence for former IMD students from Taiwan while another was organized by Legislator Jason Hsu, Legislative Yuan, with the participation of Rolf Frei, Director of the Trade Office of Swiss Industries.
