La Fondation Hirondelle est une organisation suisse de journalistes et de professionnels de l’action humanitaire. Depuis 1995, elle crée ou soutient des médias d’information généralistes, indépendants et citoyens, dans des zones de guerre, des situations de crise endémique ou des situations de post-conflit. Sa mission est de défendre et concrétiser le droit à l'information pour contribuer au retour ou au maintien de la paix, à la reconstruction de pays en situation de crise ou de sortie de crise, et à l'émergence de sociétés démocratiques.

The Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP) is the undisputed global reference for cash transfer programming (CTP). Strong of a membership of 50 key stakeholders from different constituencies and an active community of practice of more than 5’000 individuals globally, CaLP is at the forefront of ensuring cash transfers are used at scale when adequate. This is done through filling research gaps, making capacity building and guidance available to all organizations, and ultimately on influencing policy to innovate and overcome remaining challenges in the way of quality humanitarian cash programming at scale.

Organisation non gouvernementale indépendante TdH s’engage depuis plus de 50 ans pour l’enfance et un développement solidaire. Elle soutient plus d’une cinquantaine de projets dans 10 pays du Sud qui permettent aux populations défavorisées de mieux défendre leurs droits et de couvrir leurs besoins essentiels, plus particulièrement ceux des enfants. Il s’agit de les protéger contre les graves violations, en particulier contre les pires formes de travail, les violences et les mauvais traitements ainsi que la traite et la vulnérabilité en situation de migration.

Additional Allocation 2017 to ICRC Operation in Yemen in Response to the Hunger Emergency

On 24 February 2017, SDC/HA pledged an additional allocation of CHF 15 million to support emergency relief operations to help populations facing starvation in parts of Africa (South Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria) and Yemen. This decision followed a call issued by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on 22 February 2017 urging for USD 4.4 billion aid to avert famine for 20 million people who risk starvation in these countries. CHF 1 million will be allocated to support ICRC's emergency operation in Yemen.
