Switzerland at ImpactCEE
From 2024 to 2026, the Embassy participated at ImpactCEE, the largest innovation conference in Central and Eastern Europe. Switzerland's innovative strength and its position as a sustainable, reliable partner were at the core of the presence. Speakers from Switzerland spoke in the conference’s main programme and presented the diversity of Swiss innovation across various thematic areas to an audience of over 6,000 guests. Simultaneously, in collaboration with Presence Switzerland, the Embassy was present at the conference exhibition centre with the Swiss House, where projects from the second Swiss contribution and attractive innovations from Switzerland were showcased.
- In 2024, Switzerland presented itself under the motto ‘swisstech’. Among the invited guests from Switzerland was Nobel Laureate Didier Queloz.
- During its second participation in 2025, Switzerland became the first Country Partner of Impact. Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin travelled to Poland and, within the framework of the conference, signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding in the field of education, research and innovation (ERI). In the centrally located Swiss House, the dom szwajcarski, international conference guests were treated to Swiss hospitality and panel discussions featuring eleven speakers from Switzerland, including André Hoffmann, President of ETH Zurich Prof. Joël Mesot and Simone Wyss-Fedele, CEO of Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE).
- In 2026, Switzerland became Country Partner of Impact for the second time. The tried-and-tested concept from the previous year was repeated: at the Swiss House – the dom szwajcarski – under the motto ‘Partnership’, Swiss hospitality and a programme of panel discussions awaited the audience. Among the ten guests from Switzerland were Prof. Michael Hengartner, president of the ETH Board, Major General Simon Müller and CEO of S-GE Anja Fiedler. Public lectures by three Swiss professors at renowned universities in Poznań and the signing of a bilateral memorandum of understanding between the Swiss and Polish Cyber Commands in the field of cyber security rounded off Switzerland’s presence at Impact’26.
