The Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) is a global research for development partnership in the fields of agriculture (crops, livestock, aquaculture and forestry). CGIAR holds in trust unique genetic resources for agriculturally significant species of central importance to advancing and sustaining productivity for the world’s smallholder farmers in the 21st century. CGIAR has a singular role in providing international and global public goods through high-quality agricultural research, partnership, and leadership in the areas of poverty and hunger reduction, improvement of human nutrition, enhancement of ecosystem resilience.

The PCF’s overall goal is for all children and youth to have access to quality education. Its work in promoting access to quality education is framed within internationally recognized standards, such as education for sustainable development (ESD), intercultural education (ICE) including multi-lingual education and participation of children, as well as gender. PCF engages with teachers, parents, communities, school management and responsible authorities of the education system in view of improving the quality of learning.

The SDC’s Humanitarian Aid administers the credit granted by parliament for a yearly amount of some CHF 20 million destined for the purchase of Swiss dairy products and their use for the benefit of the needy. Its task is to ensure a sustainable, targeted, and closely monitored food aid.

EPER/HEKS concentre son programme international sur le développement rural, la gestion des conflits et la paix et les droits humains. La terre en tant que ressource est au cœur du programme de EPER/HEKS. Ceci que ce soit au niveau de l’accès à la terre, son utilisation agricole et la commercialisation des produits. L’intégration économique et sociale des hommes et femmes marginalisés est un aspect important du programme de EPER/HEKS. L’organisation travaille avec la conviction fondamentale que la justice est une exigence pour un développement durable et des structures de paix. A cette fin elle renforce les capacités de la société civile.

Das Projekt schaff den Rahmen für einen relevanten Beitrag der BiH Diaspora in der Schweiz an die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung, die Demokratiebildung sowie die Stärkung der sozialen Kohäsion im Herkunftsland, da sich ein signifikanter Teil der BiH Diaspora in der Schweiz aufhält. Eine ethnisch und konfessionell unabhängige BiH Diaspora Plattform kann eine doppelte Brückenfunktion sowohl innerhalb der heterogenen BiH Diaspora als auch im fragmentierten Gefüge von BiH haben.

Strengthening of UNHCR Community-Based Protection Project

In line with the Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD) principles, Switzerland recognizes the necessity of predictable and flexible funding to respond to changing needs in humanitarian crises. SDC funding allows UNHCR to improve its protection approaches and activities towards persons of concern, including internally displaced persons through the development of adequate processes and mechanisms guaranteeing quality standards in UNHCR programmes.

Depuis 1989, Biovision encourage des solutions écologiques pour lutter contre la pauvreté et améliorer la sécurité alimentaire en Afrique. Ce travail à la base est connecté avec un engagement international où des solutions concrètes sont proposées aux décideurs (participation sur les discussions concernant les ODD). Dans ses projets de développement, Biovision adopte l’approche holistique « 4S +i », santé des hommes, des plantes, des animaux et de l’environnement plus la composante information qui permet la diffusion de connaissances parmi la population et la sensibilisation aux enjeux politiques.
