External confidential resources (advisory services)
The services of the PSC are available to all active and retired employees of the Federal Administration and their family members. It provides information, counselling and support on problems relating to work, marriage, partnership and family, health, retirement and finances. The PSC, whose employees are subject to strict confidentiality requirements, provides specialist counselling services on behalf of the Federal Office of Personnel.

The Mediation Service examines the concerns of Federal Administration employees in the event of workplace disputes that cannot be resolved internally together with the line manager or HR. It is a neutral and independent ombudsman's office that operates outside the administrative hierarchy. It provides its services free of charge and treats all queries and complaints with strict confidentiality.

Federal employees who experience discrimination in the workplace because of their gender (e.g. in terms of pay, working conditions or promotion) may appeal to the Conciliation Board.
The Conciliation Board is responsible for providing advice to the parties free of charge and helping them to reach an agreement so that a formal complaint or court proceedings can be avoided.
The Conciliation Board is independent of the Federal Administration and its members are bound to confidentiality.

HR Advisory Services is an internal unit that supports employees in all workplace situations, including sexual harassment. The FDFA Compliance Office provides confidential advice to individuals and line managers on all matters relating to psychological or sexual harassment It provides information to affected persons in a confidential setting concerning the various options available to them to resolve the situation.
