General Information

Visa appointments:

The waiting time for an appointment may be up to 5 weeks, especially during the high season in summer or during the holiday season. Applicants are therefore advised to book their appointments as early as possible. Making an appointment is free of charge.

Payment:

Payments are accepted in cash, all major credit cards (except American Express) and money orders. Fees payable in USD only. Visa applicants also have the option to pay online (www.swiss-visa.ch).

Shipping documents:

It is recommended that important documents (passports, official papers, visa applications) are mailed with a carrier with a tracking number.

There are currently no COVID entry restrictions in place to travel to Switzerland.
