Regional Briefing Papers
The Africa Briefing Papers aims to inform the development practitioners and the public about new innovations, results and impacts of Swiss development cooperation in Africa. It shall particularly highlight past and present efforts to achieve aid effectiveness through partnerships between Swiss agencies and local partners.
The Asia Briefing Papers aims to inform the development practitioners and the public about new innovations, results and impacts of Swiss development cooperation in Asia. It shall particularly highlight past and present efforts to achieve aid effectiveness through partnerships between Swiss agencies and local partners.
"Latin Brief" highlights outcomes and latest trends in the development cooperation activities of the SDC and its partners in Latin America, focusing on the themes of alleviating poverty and promoting human security. The publication addresses a broad public in Switzerland as well as practitioners in the field of development cooperation.
UN agencies, the OECD and the World Bank are just a few of the international organisations with which Switzerland cooperates in the framework of its multilateral activities. What are the burning issues at the moment? What positions is Switzerland defending? What is the specific impact on the ground of the work done in these institutions? These are some of the questions that the Multilateral Accent proposes to answer in the four issues that it publishes annually.
How are the global programmes implemented? What value added do they bring to "traditional" bilateral and multilateral cooperation? What are the concrete results? These are the questions which the Global Brief addresses on a thrice yearly basis.
Evaluation Briefs «EvalBriefs» summarize the evidence coming out of evaluation reports and impact studies commissioned by bilateral and/or multilateral partners, or carried out by research institutions. Their aims are to support learning processes and to stimulate strategic reflection among SDC and its partners.

What strategy options are open to Switzerland for its international cooperation? What are the new trends in international cooperation? On what issues are national and international debates on development currently focused? How are decisions related to development policy arrived at? The Development Policy Brief addresses these and other questions on a regular basis.
